Sarkhan Vol is a red-green planeswalker living in Jund. He is known to be a shaman, who worships dragons. In fact, Sarkhan ascended when he connected to a dragon spirit in a trance.

When Ajani first came to Jund, Sarkhan saved him from Karrthus and taught the nacatl how return to his home.

Alara Unbroken

The upcoming novel Alara Unbroken will feature Sarkhan as one of its later antagonists.
