Shanna Sisay is a descendant of Captain Sisay. She became part of Jhoira's crew, and later captain, of the rebuilt Skyship Weatherlight.
Description
Shanna is an ambitious swordswoman with dark skin and dark hair in a crown of braids, who dresses in metal and leather armor. She wields Sisay's weapons and, like her ancestor, she is practically immune against magic.[1][2][3]
History
Shanna became captain of the Weatherlight when Jhoira returned to the Mana Rig on Shiv.[4][5] She and her crew rescued Karn, Teferi, Jodah, and Jaya from the New Phyrexians at the watchtower of Argivia. Shanna assisted in the formation of a New Coalition to fight against the second Phyrexian invasion.[6] During the war, the Weatherlight ultimately succumbed to Phyrexian corruption. Before abandoning her ship, Shanna, along with Rafwyn Capashen and Tiana, helped to free Braids.[7]
Shanna fought in defense of Dominaria during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse.[8][9]
