Shanna Sisay is a descendant of Captain Sisay. She became part of Jhoira's crew on the rebuilt Skyship Weatherlight.
History
Shanna is an ambitious swordswoman with dark skin and dark hair in a crown of braids, who dresses in metal and leather armor. She wields Sisay's weapons and, like her ancestor, she is practically immune against magic.[1][2][3]
Dominaria United
Shanna became captain of the Weatherlight when Jhoira returned to the Mana Rig on Shiv.[4] She and her crew rescued Karn, Teferi, Jodah, and Jaya from the New Phyrexians at the watchtower of Argivia. Shanna assisted in the formation of a New Coalition to fight against the second Phyrexian invasion.[5] During the war, the Weatherlight ultimately succumbed to Phyrexian corruption. Before abandoning her ship, Shanna, along with Rafwyn Capashen and Tiana, helped to free Braids.[6]
