Ambush in the Kher Ridges Union of the Third Path Fall of Sumifa

The Union of the Third Path was a result of an agreement between the Archimandrite of the Ivory Tower, the scholar and historian Feldon, and the artificer Drafna and his wife Hurkyl from the College of Lat-Nam, as well as the archaeologist Loran from Penregon. Sunastian Falconer is also counted as one of the founders, although it is not known which affiliation and background he had beforehand.

Description

The official announcement reflected an agreement of peace and neutrality from the war between Urza and Mishra, hence the term the Third Path as well as hosting a great library and performing collaborative scientific research. The Third Path also more clandestinely focused intensely on the study of magic. Hurkyl was perhaps the earliest known wizard in all of Terisiare, and she taught her magic to her pupils. The Archimandrite showed strong aptitude in the study, while other members like Loran did not manage any magic, despite many attempts.

The Third Path threw open the doors of Terisia City, welcoming anyone interested in their research and collaborative spirit. Unfortunately, this enabled the Brotherhood of Gix to join them inside, which would lead to tragedy 12 years after the Union was founded.
