Umber is an island in the northern hemisphere of Dominaria.
Description
Umber lies south of Upper Videnth and north of Otaria and Terisiare.[1] It is a cold land, with harsh winters that force its fisherfolk to stay inside and work on mending their nets and living off the salted catch of the summer. The waters around the island are icy cold, which discourages swimming as an activity, but they teem with the fish that is the source of living for the islanders.[2]
History
The wizard Kitrin Weidini was from Umber, and lived there until adulthood before she moved south to Tamingazin to apprentice at the Institute of Arcane Study.[2]
