Description
Strixhaven University welcomes you. Begin your magical studies on a faraway plane, encountering new friends, mysteries, and dangers, in this fantastical dark academia. The harcover edition contains 432 Pages.[2] The book tells the story of Strixhaven's first class of interplanar students, who have traveled to Arcavios via Omenpaths. The contents of this book fall completely within canon.[1]
Blurb
Eula Blue was supposed to be a shield mage. She was supposed to rise through the ranks of one of the Families in New Capenna, learning the art of magic and the cunning of commerce. But that was before the war came — before the fight for the Multiverse devastated Eula’s home, and with it her hopes for a magical education. Now, the streets are paved with dust and rubble, and only the clean-up crews are hiring.
But the destruction of the war also brought something new: the ability to travel to other planes. Travel to other worlds was once reserved for a special few who could walk between planes. Now, the Multiverse is open to all. This abstract idea becomes very real for Eula when she receives an invitation to study at a magical school built on a different plane of existence. Given a chance to return to her study of magic, Eula leaps to take it. She may never have heard of “Strixhaven University,” and she certainly didn’t apply to join its first official multiplanar class, but a fully funded trip to a new plane, a new future, is something she can’t refuse.
What she doesn’t expect is the kinship she feels with her fellow students, like Alandra, a merfolk girl with a flair for art and mischief. And the mysterious Segante, a boy whose secrets Eula longs to share.
But Strixhaven too was a victim of the war, and the arrival of Eula and her friends presses on its wounds. Not everyone is thrilled by the school’s new students, and their presence is a constant reminder of how the Multiverse was forever changed. Eula and the other multiplanar students quickly become a target for enemies within and without. If they’re going to make it through their first semester, they’ll have to fight for their place in this new world — or die before their final exams.
