The Nova Pentacle was a Dominarian artifact given to Sir Zaraya by Samiks of the Marked Ones, used to hold dark sorcery at bay during the Ice Age.[1] Zaraya gave it to Freyalise for Jaeuhl Carthalion to use against Tevesh Szat.[2]
History
More than 1100 years later, in 4074 AR, Greensleeves received the Nova Pentacle from the druid Chaney, to help with her magic.[3] At some point before 4077 AR, Towser invisibly stole the Nova Pentacle from Greensleeves, and created several copies of it. This allowed the spellcasters controlled by the Stone Brain to resist being summoned by Greensleeves's magic.[4]
