Aerojaunt Field is a hexagonal practice field dedicated to magical aerial activities and transport studies, primarily used by Strixhaven's less competitive and intramural teams. Once the university's main sports field, it has since been superseded by newer facilities, such as the Strixhaven Stadium. Still, it remains popular for practicing and playing silkball, especially among the Intramural Silkball Club.[1]
Description
Aerojaunt Field features several dirt ramps permanently built into the terrain to support the magical aerial maneuvers involved in silkball, including the signature "aerojaunt" move that inspired the field's name. The playing surface is outlined with glowing magical chalk, and the field is surrounded by outbuildings used for storing equipment and supplies. Though mostly quiet at night, the field is a lively hub during the day for practice and intramural matches.
