This enraged Taysir, her former lover, who hunted Sandruu down and banished him to a plane from which it would take a millennium to return. However, seven decades later, Sandruu was called to Dominaria by Ravidel's Mox Beacon to fight in the Planeswalkers' War.

Since the comic depicting the war was never made, what happened to Sandruu is unknown.
