At a very young age she was chosen to be the new Anima, and like all the ones before her, her eyes were blinded after the Whitecover Gaze ritual, in exchange for ability of a powerful magical sight. She also experience the ancient tale of Cylia's experience with Progenitus when Alara was sundered.
