Avatar: The Last Airbender is Magic: The Gathering's upcoming 108th expansion and is to be released on November 21, 2025. Based on the animated series of the same name, this release was created in collaboration with Nickelodeon Animation Studio and its parent company Viacom (Paramount Media Networks). It will be available in Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, the Last Airbender Bundle, a Gift Edition Commander's Bundle, two Scene Boxes and a Beginner Box. There are also Jumpstart Boosters and 2-Pack Boosters for the accompanying Jumpstart set.
The Last Airbender debuts four new named mechanics, each one corresponding to one of the "bending" styles of the franchise: Airbend, Waterbend, Firebending and Earthbend. The set sees the return of the Ally type to Standard, for the first time since Oath of the Gatewatch. Ally typal is a major theme of the set.

• 2025-09-22: Four days before Announcement Day, Wizards of the Coast teases a possible set based on The Hobbit by congratulating Bilbo Baggins on his birthday. The teaser uses new art based on the precursor to The Lord of the Rings.
• 2025-09-22: Release of Secret Lair Drop Series: Marvel's Spider-Man Superdrop.
• 2025-09-10: Release of Magic: The Gathering: Untold Stories - Elspeth (volume I), a comic published by Dark Horse.
• 2025-09-09: Wizards announces that Vivi Ornitier is "likely" to be banned from Standard during the next banned and restricted announcement, which is rescheduled to November 10.
• 2025-09-08: Reveal of the Through the Omenpaths 1 card gallery. Web-slinging is renamed Enweb, but Mayhem and Symbiote remain unchanged. The cards depict many known planes.
• 2025-09-03: MTG Arena celebrates Yargle Day with themed achievements and the "The Bargler" title.
• 2025-09-01: The first official spoilers for Through the Omenpaths 1 reveal that Infinity Stones will be known as Terminus Stones in Universes Within. Although Harness remains unchanged, the infinity ability is renamed to Origin.
• 2025-08-31: Brennan Roy defeats a field of Izzet Cauldron decks and wins Spotlight: Planetary Rotation at Orlando, USA, by playing Mono-Red Aggro.
