Avatar: The Last Airbender is Magic: The Gathering's upcoming 108th expansion and is to be released on November 21, 2025. Based on the animated series of the same name, this release was created in collaboration with Nickelodeon Animation Studio and its parent company Viacom (Paramount Media Networks). It will be available in Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, the Last Airbender Bundle, a Gift Edition Commander's Bundle, two Scene Boxes and a Beginner Box. There are also Jumpstart Boosters and 2-Pack Boosters for the accompanying Jumpstart set.
The Last Airbender debuts four new named mechanics, each one corresponding to one of the "bending" styles of the franchise: Airbend, Waterbend, Firebending and Earthbend. The set sees the return of the Ally type to Standard, for the first time since Oath of the Gatewatch. Ally typal is a major theme of the set.

• 2025-10-24: After the announcement of a collaboration between Hasbro and KPop Demon Hunters, Chris Cocks confirms that the IP will be be featured on a Secret Lair in 2026.
• 2025-10-23: In the Third Quarter of 2025, Hasbro's revenue increased 8%. Magic: The Gathering revenue grew 55%.
• 2025-10-21: Wizards of the Coast announces a Magic Limited Championship to be held in 2027, with a supporting tournament structure for the 2026–27 Premier Play Season.
• 2025-10-21: Gavin Verhey provides an update from the Commander Format Panel: some further clarifications on the Commander Brackets, while some Game Changers are removed from the list. Discussion points needing feedback are possible bannings of Rhystic Study and Thassa's Oracle, an additional bracket, and a change of use of hybrid mana in Commander.
• 2025-10-13: Release of Secret Lair Drop Series: Secret Scare Superdrop.
• 2025-10-09: A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed food truck bearing the Magic: The Gathering logo, seen around the New York Comic-Con venue, spoils the theme of the Universes Beyond set that will be released in March 2026.
