Dark Horse Comics is a comic book company, best known as the publishers of Hellboy and the licensed Star Wars comics. In July 2021, Dark Horse and Wizards of the Coast worked together on Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons, a four-issue comic book miniseries.

Magic: the Gathering

Already in spring 1998, Dark Horse had published the four-volume Magic: The Gathering comic series Gerrard's Quest, retelling the adventures of Gerrard Capashen in the Weatherlight Saga.

In 2024, Dark Horse Comics and Wizards of the Coast once again agreed on a publishing line of graphic novels and comic books based on Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons. The series will predominantly consist of original stories inspired by Wizards of the Coast's IPs. Some new art books are also in the works as part of the same initiative, together with at least one more product that has yet to be announced. The upcoming line will debut in Septmber 2025.[1][2]
