The Wand of Ith was an artifact created by Lord Ith during the Dark Age. After its creator's imprisonment, the wand was used by Mairsil.

History

The history of the wand's creation is unknown, other than the fact that it was Lord Ith who created it during his tenure as leader of the Conclave of Mages. When Mairsil usurped his teacher's position, he stole the wand and used it for himself. Mairsil regularly carried the wand with him and used it to weaken any resistance against him. When Mairsil faced down Primata Delphine of the Church of Tal during her assault on the Conclave, Mairsil used the wand on her with good effect, draining away her magical defenses and then stabbing her to death.
