Verdeloth was a legendary magnigoth treefolk from Yavimaya who fought in the Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria around AR 4205.
Description
Verdeloth the Ancient was a guardian of the Yavimaya forest. As a magnigoth treefolk, he stood thousands of feet tall.[1] His body was composed of thick, gnarled wood, with deep grooves and knots that signified his ancient nature.[2] His broad, mushroom-like canopy head was adorned with a crown of foliage and branches, providing shelter and life to various creatures, especially saprolings.
History
During the Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria in 4205, Verdeloth and the other magnigoth treefolk who kept watch over Rith's Grove fought in the plane's defense.[1] Though his fate in the battle is unknown, it is unlikely he survived the Temporal crisis of Dominaria in 4500.
