Finroy was a man from Tyarel who lived during the Ice Age of Terisiare, on the plane of Dominaria.
History
Finroy's uncle was a successful jeweler, who took Finroy in when his parents died from a plague. When Finroy was eighteen, he traveled to Jornstad to study history. There, he eventually came under the employ of the popular regent, Lord Rothchild. Discovering that Rothchild was a drunken lecher, Finroy had to step in and pretend to be him by donning Rothchild's shining armor on at least two occasions. The first involved jousting against Sir Udo, which resulted in a lance blow to the chest that required Finroy to receive healing afterward. The second was on a hunt against the scaled wurm Rhindle, which resulted in Finroy receiving a broken thigh. Nevertheless, Rothchild was as popular among the townsfolk of Jornstad as ever.[1]
