Denawa is the northern of the two main islands of Orvada, a merchant empire rivalling Benalia on Dominaria. The other island is Walassa, to the south.[1][2][3]
History
Gerrard Capashen once visited Denawa. Traveling down the coast with some friends, he ran into a pack of scarmithals. The soldiers killed the beasts and took their hides, as wearing a scarmithal hide allows one to pass among them without notice.[4]
After the second Phyrexian Invasion of Dominaria, the merchant lords of Orvada made peace with Benalia and furnished food and supplies to the Serran troops led by Lyra Dawnbringer.[5]
