The Dark Depths were a legendary location on the plane of Dominaria during the the Thaw.
Description
The Dark Depths were once a great crypt beneath the sea, deep within the Ronom Glacier where Marit Lage was once imprisoned.[1][2] After the casting of the World Spell, the Thaw started causing Ronom Glacier to melt rapidly over several decades leading the and Flooding of Terisiare.[3][4] This would have freed Marit Lage and let her lurk beneath the ice in the Dark Depths. Following the end of the Thaw, it's not known what happened to her as the remaining ice would have melted, creating the Sea of Laments and the Sea of Almaaz.
