An elf from the Wilds. Member of the Council of Druids, and cousin of Ayara.[1]
Alora Syr Alora, knight of Garenbrig

A bear-knight who usually rides with a bird of prey on her shoulder.[1] She wears her chestnut-colored hair fixed back in a single thick braid.
Alyse

A human woman and mother of the half-fae Kellan.[2] Like her son, she has dark hair and hazel eyes. She trained for five years as a hedgewitch.[3][4] Shortly after arriving in Eldraine around 4545 AR, the young faerie planeswalker Oko met Alyse in a field of nightshade. The two met regularly in the same location over the next few years and shared knowledge of their planes. She left her mistress and began learning magic from Oko, and he promised her a throne. She eventually became pregnant with Kellan. Upset at the villagers' dislike and mistreatment of his lover, Oko lashed out at them, causing her to leave him. She later became a weaver and married the shepherd Ronald.[5] On Oko's return in 4560 AR, he reached out to Alyse again, but she chose to remain with her son.[4]

Beauty

One of the High Fae princess Obyra's attendants, with Blessing and Song.[6] The three protected their lady while she was affected by the Wicked Slumber, as well as protecting those around her.

A large bear-knight man who carries a massive, tall hammer as his weapon.[1] He wears his black hair in box braids.

Fifer

One of Rankle's faerie subjects. He wore a dead rabbit on his head. Rankle once sewed his mouth shut. He secretly hated his lord and conspired to kick him out.[10]
Gerra Grandsquall

Moved Indrelon from Castle Vantress to Beluna Grandsquall's castle, Stormkeld.[8] Likely a giant and relative of Beluna's.
Grenphire Syr Grenphir, knight of Garenbrig

An Orrinshire woman and tea brewer.[4]
Gunrudd

Gwyddion Gwyddion, messenger of Talion[7]

A High Fae kindguard and messenger of Talion.
Hanlon

The brother of Greta.[11] Years before 4563 AR, he and his sister wandered into Sweettooth Village, where he was eaten by a cannibalistic witch.[12] Hanlon is based on Hansel of "Hansel and Gretel."
Hazel Kenrith Princess Hazel

Mischievous half-sister of Rowan and Will Kenrith. She is eleven years old, and an absolute troublemaker.[9]
Syr Hellraker

A dragon knighted during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse.
Hilda

A victim of a fae's curse.
Ianthe Ianthe, first Knight of the Irencrag

The legendary first knight to impale the Irencrag with her sword.
Ilidon

A warlike young elf from the Wilds. Member of the Council of Druids.[1]
Jurald

A human who stumbled upon the High Fae court.
Kenver Kenver, Embereth weaponsmith

Korlag

A vengeful ogre.
Kylene

A human rogue who stole a giant gem from Stormkeld.
Layne Syr Layne, knight of Embereth

An Embereth knight
Lumpton

An ox.
Lydel Syr Lydel, knight of Vantress

A Vantress knight who retreated from Winter's Home after being frozen by Hylda.
Mags

One of Rankle's faerie subjects. She has sharpened teeth and sleek black wings. She carried a knife and a slingshot with eyeball projectiles. Mags and Rankle once made the Questing Beast cry. She secretly hated her lord, and conspired to kick him out.[10] Though she was affected by Rankle's love potion during New Phyrexia's Invasion of Eldraine, he later gave her an anti-love potion after he caught her watching him sleep.[13]
Malacan Malacan, Vantress exile

Marawen Marawen, Barrow Witch

A witch
Marquess of Roxburgh

The leader of Roxburgh. After New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse, he refused to bend the knee to acting king Will Kenrith.[3]
Matilda Cotter

An Orrinshire woman and mother of multiple boys.[3]
Maurice

A master blacksmith who attended the Grand Ball at Delverhaugh.
Orla

One of Rankle's faerie subjects. He once put bees in her mouth while she was sleeping. She secretly hated him and conspired to kick him out, maiming his wing in the process.[10]
Osval Osval, adventurer

An adventurer killed by a Dragon witch.[7]
Perrin Syr Perrin

Based on Sir Gawain of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight..
Reynald

Roki Syr Roki, knight of Garenbrig

An ice-pale bear-knight who carries a poleaxe as his weapon.[1] He wears his straw-blond hair flowing and loose.
Royse

A famed weaver and spiderlike fae.[8][14] When not using a glamor, she has eight eyes, two mandibles, and eight arms, two of which appear human. Due to her coveted weaves, she has been bestowed numerous gifts by the fae. She is old by human standards.[15] It is implied that she and Rowan Kenrith may have been lovers.[16] She is inspired by Arachne.[17]
Ronald

An Orrinshire shepherd and Kellan's stepfather.[3][5]

The warlock queen of Dynnistad castle deep in the Wilds.[7] She is served by undead knights known as deathless riders.
