Chulane, Teller of Tales, is a human druid from Eldraine.
Description
Chulane is a human druid whose magical storytelling conveys secret wisdom to all who hear it. He has claimed that only the Keeper of Fables knows more tales then he does. He is a white-haired man with a tidy beard and a blue cloak.
History
During New Phyrexia's Invasion of Eldraine he was seen by Rankle attempting to warn some villagers that something terrible would come out of the bruised sky but they did not believe him. He was called a fool and youths began to throw rocks at him chasing him from the town. As he fled the town, he decided to warn Queen Ayara in Locthwain. Rankle followed him with the intention of robbing him but was distracted by the grand sight of Locthwain Castle. Chulane noticed him and guarded his gold. As the Queen's carriage traveled by, he approached and requested an audience to warn her. He explained to her that the skies would open up and horrors would rain out, after which she had him join her in the carriage to explain more.[1]
Chulane is believed to have survived the Invasion.[2]
