Jedhian was an inhabitant of Inys Haen, and direct descendant of Haen. He was also cousin of Aylith.[1]
Description
Like both Aylith and his ancestor Haen, Jedihan had sand-colored hair. He was also tall and well-built and had several useful survival skills, including hunting, tracking, climbing, and healing skills.[1]
History
Jedhian played a critical role in the resistance against the Nohrish invasion and the eventual restoration of the Clan Tree of Cridhe. After Keeper Logan and his wife Selka perished in the fires set by Thix, Jedhian, determined to rescue his cousin Aylith, set out in pursuit of the Nohrish captors. Before departing, he buried Aylith’s mother, unknowingly wielding the long-lost blade Soulslayer.
His initial rescue attempt failed, resulting in his capture and imprisonment alongside the disgraced RoNal, who had been infected with the deadly Walking Plague. As they languished in the dungeon pit, they faced the Frog, a monstrous creature created by the previous Felonarch, Crephas. The Frog was a grotesque amalgamation of man and dark magic. RoNal sacrificed himself, allowing Jedhian to escape and continue his mission. Teaming up with Lorris, RoNal’s daughter, and Arn, a crippled slave, Jedhian helped orchestrate a desperate flight from Inys Nohr amid a growing rebellion.
During the final confrontation at Inys Haen, Jedhian stopped Aylith from executing Nazir, convincing her to show mercy rather than act on vengeance. However, when Nazir later fled captivity, Jedhian was gravely injured in the ensuing chaos. Taken by the Nohrish, he was forced to heal Malvos using the last of his magic, at the cost of destroying Soulslayer and sealing his fate within Cridhe.
In the aftermath, Jedhian witnessed the Awakening Ritual that restored balance to the land and caused the Mending of the Clan Tree. The war ended, and Jedhian was left to remain in his homeland, ensuring the peace he had fought so hard to secure.[1]
