The following Mercadian characters are only mentioned in flavor text, or appear as minor characters in the storyline.

Son of Tavoot and Sesharral. A 10-year old boy who witnessed the Skyship Weatherlight enter the plane of Mercadia and crash land near his farm.[1]
The Chief Magistrate of Mercadia

Officially the ruler of Mercadia City, in reality a puppet of the Kyren and Volrath. Killed by Orim using a Kyren blow dart during the Revolution on Mercadia.[1]
Cho-Annu

A Cho-Arrim of Cho-Akhan's village, a spearmaker who died of the plague. [2]
Cho-Biaal

A Cho-Arrim of Cho-Akhan's village, a gossipmonger who died of the plague. [2]
Cho-Fihad

One of Cho-Akhan's mothers, her birth mother [2]
Cho-Hanni

A Cho-Arrim of Cho-Akhan's village, a scout who died of the plague. [2]
Cho-Ran

Cho-Akhan's brother, who died of the plague. [2]
Cho-Shadi

One of Cho-Akhan's mothers, her other mother [2]
Cho-Tunni

A Cho-Arrim of Cho-Akhan's village, a dogkeeper who died of the plague. [2]
Dromelasthamarab Drome

A drunk guard watching the entrance of the Subterranean Hangar.[1]
El-Halal

Captain of the ship The Condrake[3]
Evangeline

Tap's wife after his quest for the Gilded Leaf[3]
Gho'miko

Someone by whose shining face Shi'ka blesses Gerrard Capashen and his crew at the start of the Mercadian revolution.[1]
Griid Lord Griid

The lead Kyren of Mercadia City, secretly serving Volrath, who killed him in a fury over news of Lahaime and the Uniter.[1]
Halim

Husband of Pepita, witnessed the Delraich's attack on Sleedge's caravan.[4]
Hassno Hassno the Unrighteous

The treacherous ally of Ramos, a woman with red hair who defected to the enemy according to Cho-Arrim legends. A corruption of Ashnod.[1]
Is-Mashtsun

Sister of Cho-Manno. Was lost to the deep dark parts of Rushwood.[1]
Is-Meisha

Wife of Ta-Spon. Gave birth to a breached baby with the help of Orim. Killed in the Mercadian attack on the village.[1]
Is-Shada

A girl in Cho-Manno's village, who befriended Orim. Killed in the Mercadian attack on the village.[1]
Jaffy

Kirch

A black mage who summoned a Derelor to merge with Raitrick. He dubbed the new creation "Delraich".[4]
Lahaime

Leader of the Ramosian rebel of Mercadia, who rose to prominence after the belligerence of Gerrard and Sisay against Mercadia City.[1]
Orhop

Brother of Ramos, according to Cho-Arrim legends. A corruption of Mishra.[1]
Oustrathmer Guard Commander Oustrathmer

The treacherous guard commander of Saprazzo, who arrested and framed Orim after the death of a guard.[1]
Pepita

Wife of Halim, witnessed the Delraich's attack on Sleedge's caravan.[4]
Raitrick Delraich

A sorceror swindled by the caravan leader Sleedge. Unwillingly merged with a Derelor through a spell cast by the black mage Kirch to become Delraich in order to enact his revenge.[4]
Samanalashakal Sama

A drunk guard watching the entrance of the Subterranean Hangar.[1]
Sesharral

Wife of Tavoot, mother of Atalla. A farmer who witnessed the Skyship Weatherlight enter the plane of Mercadia and crash land near his farm.[1]
Shi-ka

A guide who led Gerrard and six others of the Weatherlight crew back to Mercadia City after Volrath stole the Bones of Ramos from them.[1]
Sia-am-Erh

A Cho-Arrim of Cho-Akhan's village, a shamanic ancestor who died many years ago, and wore the Ancestral Mask. [2]
Skotcha

The smallest of Atalla's jhovalls.[1]
Sleedge

A caravan leader killed by Raitrick in the form of the Delraich.[4]
Ta-Karnst Ta-Karnst, Cho-Arrim healer

The healer in Cho-Manno's village, who amputated the smashed arm of Klaars. Died sheltering at the Inner Waters in Rushwood.[1]
Ta-Spon Ta-Spon, Cho-Arrim executioner

Husband of Is-Meisha. Executioner in Cho-Manno's village, killed Klaars after he went on a rampage. Killed in the Mercadian attack on the village.[1]
Tap

Husband of Evangeline.[3]
Tavoot

Husband of Sesharral, father of Atalla. A farmer who witnessed the Skyship Weatherlight enter the plane of Mercadia and crash land near his farm.[1]
Xcric

A Cateran enforcer, leader of the Mercadian Imperial Guard Fifth Regiment. Killed by a hundred tons of refuse falling on his head from the top of Mercadia City.[1][5][1]
Yusuf

First mate of the ship The Condrake[3]
