Derelors (DARE-el-ors) are big centaur-like thrulls, summoned on at least two separate occasions. Both times this led to widespread devastation, although in both cases this devastation was caused by forces beyond the derelor itself.

Description

Derelors have four legs like a horse, the torso of a man, and the head of a giant, hideous black frog. It stands nearly twice the height of a hunched-over man.[1]

Sarpadian Derelor

The derelor that was summoned by the Order of the Ebon Hand in Sarpadia was brought to bear against the Farrelites but was immediately killed by a Fireball cast by the planeswalker Tevesh Szat, enraged at the death of his sister, Tymolin Loneglade. Szat went on to annihilate the entire camp, with the zealot Oliver Farrel, the priestess Vaylesh, and the champion Sianna being among the dead.[2] The failure of the derelor also led to the execution order of thrull breeder Endrek Sahr.[3]

Mercadian Derelor

The derelor that was summoned in Mercadia City by the black mage Kirch was immediately fused with the sorcerer Raitrick. Kirsch cast the spell using his vomit and Raitrick's blood, creating the Delraich from the amalgamated flesh of the thrull and the sorcerer. The delraich was a hideously warped creature with a mouth in its belly, who then took its revenge upon caravan leader Sleedge on the plains of Mercadia, murdering him and all his men and leaving his camp in tatters.[1]
