Rebalanced cards are a feature of the digital Alchemy game.[1] The Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate rebalances were the first to have cards modified for limited gameplay.[2]
Discription
The draft format, as initially released, proved to have an imbalance in the strength of colors - with White and Black being stronger and Blue being under-powered.[3] This was compounded by the speed of the format and the general weakness in slower, grindier strategies overcoming the aggressive decks.
The rebalances were aimed at making the underperforming strategies and archetypes stronger, primarily by improving blocking and reducing the effectiveness of aggro cards.
