Seza is an Oreskan scout and warrior on the plane of Theros.
History
The first time Seza met Ajani Goldmane, she was too young to go on patrol, but Ajani would remember her friendly demeanor and candid nature.
Years later, during the Silence of the Gods, Seza encountered Ajani again while leading a patrol team consisting of herself, Aletha, and Koila. She was unsure he was truly Ajani at first, so she leveled her axe at him, asking him to identify himself, but when he said her name, she knew he was no trick or Nyxborn creature. She introduced the others and informed Ajani that Brimaz was now king of Tethmos, which pleased him.
Aletha and Koila returned to their patrol, while Seza brought Ajani along to Tethmos, where they met with King Brimaz in his great hall. Ajani and Brimaz greeted each other as old friends, and they all sat down together to eat. After some catching up, Ajani inquired about any news of Elspeth, and the king directed him to speak to the human visitor Lanathos, a chronicler who was interested in the Leonin traditions and culture. Ajani left to find Lanathos, leaving Seza behind with her king.
Later, after Ajani had traveled with Elspeth into the Nyx, he was returned to Oreskos. The leonin found him, unconcious and holding Elspeth's bloodied cloak. The Leonin put him in a healing house, and Seza was there when he woke up for the second time. Seza told Ajani of Pyxathor, a newly risen rival of Brimaz, who had caused some unrest and tensions among the Leonin on account of Ajani's continued evasiveness. Seza brought Ajani before Brimaz again, and Brimaz told Ajani they would hold a duel to gauge their power levels against each other. Brimaz won all three bouts over Ajani, because Ajani did not really wish to fight. Brimaz told Ajani that if there were to be public trust between them, Ajani would need to be more forthcoming with the Leonin. Until then, he would not be particularly welcome among them.
Ajani thought on this, and decided to first journey to Meletis to spread the word of Heliod's misdeeds and his murder of Elspeth, his own champion, as well as how the gods were made and how they could be unmade. When Ajani had successfully started the spread of this tale among the populace of the polis, he returned to Tethmos and announced that he would share information with the Leonin there.
While Ajani was still cryptic on his extraplanar origins, he did go into detail on his friendship with Elspeth, her battle against Xenagos, their journey into Nyx, her ordeal for Erebos, her slaying of the satyr god, and Heliod's betrayal and murder of his friend. He also shared the origin of the gods - undeniably real, but created by mortals' worship, and thus capable of being unmade by mortals' lack of worship. Ajani would fight against the gods, even if he did not have the Leonin on his side. But when he finished speaking, Brimaz, Lanathos and Pyxathor were all pleased with his story, and welcomed him into their fold.
