Yargle is a gluttonous Frog Spirit that haunts Urborg.[1]
Belzenlok's lieutenant Yar-Kul became to ambitious, he was transformed into a maggot by the demon lord. That maggot was eaten by a frog which later grew into Yargle.[1]
Yargle was the first defense of the Stronghold when the Skyship Weatherlight attacked Belzenlok.[2] Muldrotha took him out.[3]
