Moag is a backwater plane where Urza and Xantcha settled on while kept out of Dominaria by the Shard.

Description

Moag was a hospitable world with abundant, rich soil, a broad swath of temperate climates, and a wealth of vigorous cultures.[1][2]

History

Urza tried to rally its populace against the Phyrexians, but failed and fled the plane when the Phyrexians attacked it.

During New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse, the plane was again invaded by Phyrexians. Only the trees were old enough to remember what happened when Moag ignored warnings of Phyrexia millennia ago. They were determined not to repeat the mistake.[3]

Inhabitants

Moag is populated by Dryads that shielded their plane against the New Phyrexian invaders.[4]
