The character of Ersta was created by Wizards of the Coast for a celebration card as part of the 2022 Heroes of the Realm program.[1]
The Ersta, Friend to All card was handed out tot the Human Resources team of Wizards of the Coast, as a token of appreciation. The name is probably an abbreviation of "Employee Recruitment, Staffing, and Talent Acquisition".
