Byode is a planeswalker of an unspecified species, who can travel between separate Universes rather than planes. Due to this they are called a Universewalker. They are black/blue aligned.
Background
The character of Byode was created by Wizards of the Coast for a celebration card as part of the 2022 Heroes of the Realm program.[1][2] The Byode, Inverse Sun card was handed out to the Universes Beyond team of Wizards of the Coast, as a token of appreciation. The name is an anagram of Universes Beyond, and the cost of the card is UB, which is also the abbreviation for Universes Beyond.
