In celebration of the memetic Yargle, Glutton of Urborg, each September 3rd, a free-to-play event with preconstructed decks is opened for 24 hours. The prizes, as the date puts it at the tail end of a set cycle, are 900 and 300 experience, as befitting the 9/3. In all years, an emblem was provided that let Frog spells cost 2 generic mana less.

For the third Yargle Day event, the format was phantom preconstructed Historic. There were five decks to choose from, each which contained nine copies of Yargle, Glutton of Urborg. The other non-land cards in each deck were singleton.

Players started the game with two emblems. The first was the same Happy Yargle Day! emblem from the previous two events, which reduced the cost of Frog spells by 2 generic mana mana. The second was a new You Are What You Eat emblem which granted the ability "Whenever a Frog enters the battlefield under your control, you may sacrifice a creature. In 2024, the date was close to Midweek Magic and hence took its place that week, running from September 2 to 5. For the first time, it was non-preconstructed, using All-Access Brawl, where players could only use Legendary Frogs (and Tatsunari, Toad Rider) for Commanders. [4]

The available commanders to build around were:
