The Windgrace Acolytes are a Dominarian order of cat warriors on Urborg, who follow the anti-artifact principles of Lord Windgrace. They are vigilant against the spread of Phyrexia, and fly on pterodactyl-like creatures. It is said that they bear the memory of the war like soldiers bear battle scars.[1]
Founded after the Phyrexian Invasion, they tended the Heroes' Memorial and used trained insects, called gladehunters, to track down artifice and artificers alike.[2][3] They tried to discourage Venser from working on his ambulators.
After the coming of the Cabal and the Memorial's destruction by Belzenlok, the Acolytes fought to keep Urborg relics out of Cabal hands.[4]
