Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or TMNT (stylized Magic: The Gathering® | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) is an upcoming Magic: The Gathering expansion in the Universes Beyond series, based on the multimedia franchise of the same name. It is scheduled for release in March 6, 2026 and will feature characters and stories from the entire franchise. The set was first announced at New York Comic Con 2025 but was accidentally spoiled two days prior when a TMNT-themed food truck bearing the Magic: The Gathering logo was seen around the convention venue.[2][3] The set will be Standard legal and will be the 110th Magic expansion.

Background

“  Heroes in a half shell!  ”

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) is an American multimedia franchise created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. It originated as a comic book series published by Mirage Studios in 1984 and has since expanded into a global phenomenon encompassing television, film, toys, video games, merchandise, and more. The franchise centers around four anthropomorphic turtle brothers—Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael—trained in ninjitsu by their rat sensei, Splinter, as they fight crime and face a rogues' gallery of villains, most notably the Shredder and the Foot Clan.

The partnership between Magic and Nickelodeon was revealed at MagicCon Atlanta 2025, though the specifics of the set were deliberatly saved for New York Comic Con two weeks later.[4] Fans quickly speculated that the set would be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, based on the NYCC panel members.[5]
