Biborat, also known as "Bib", is a mercenary on Shandalar who was hired by the spirits of the Onakke to bring back a chest containing the key to the Onakke Catacombs.

History

As Biborat and his associates were discussing the best way to bring the chest back to the Onakke Catacombs, Liliana Vess interrupted them by kicking the door down and barging in. She planned to hire the mercenaries to break into the viceroy's palace. Liliana planned for the mercenaries to handle the viceroy's guards while she killed him.

When Liliana impatiently explained her plan, the other mercenaries did not believe her, and one of them named Harcu raised his sword to attack Liliana. However, an angel on the hunt for the band of mercenaries swooped in. As Harcu charged toward Liliana, the angel filled his body with golden light until he disintegrated, to the shock of everyone in the room.

The angel blasted away the walls of the shack, and grabbed another mercenary, Dalto, lifting him into the air by his neck. The angel announced that they were damned for all time and would dwell in eternal torment, before she filled Dalto with golden light and disintegrated him, just like she had done with Harcu.

Before the angel could kill anyone else, however, Liliana blasted her with death magic and was killed by Biborat's last remaining associate while Biborat cowered with the chest in his hands.

A few days later, Biborat successfully returned the chest containing the key necklace to the Onakke Catacombs, with the Onakke spirits whispering of a promised reward while gleefully noting that Liliana would be coming to claim the Chain Veil for him.
