Aaron Kline

A White Weenie deck played by runner-up Aaron Kline. This decklist was published in the Duelist #12 but was missing three cards.[3]

Ross Sclafani

Semifinalist Ross Sclafani played a Red manaWhite mana control deck built about Land Tax and the cards Sunstone and Glacial Crevasses. An approximation of Sclafani's decklist was published by Brian David-Marshall on Usenet after the event. Future Hall of Fame player Steven O'Mahoney-Schwartz also reportedly played this deck in New York.[2]

Max Suver

Semi-finalist Max Suver played a Red manaGreen manaWhite mana control deck designed around Strombind and Land Tax. It also featured three copies of Eron the Relentless as a finisher.[4]

Jon Finkel played a White manaBlue mana control deck to a top 8 finish.

“  “I played blue-white control with two Orders, two Blinking Spirits, two Serra Angels and Mishras for creatures,” said the first-class Hall of Famer.[5]  ”
