Alliances Sneak Preview

This was the global Prerelease event for Alliances, which would be released the following month on June 10, 1996. It was the first time that members of the public would see any cards from the new set. Roughly 450 players participated in the event, which was Sealed deck with one Ice Age Starter and two Alliances boosters.[2] Alliances was extremely well received, and there was high demand for buying, selling, and trading of the new cards following the event.
