The Temporal Anchor is a device crafted by Saheeli Rai to heighten a planeswalker's magic strength and precision.to heighten his magic's strength and precision.[1] It consisted of a platform, with leather straps and wires.
History
Saheeli, Kaya and Tefer installed the Temporal Anchor at Urza's Tower in order to send Teferi back in time to find a solution to the Phyrexian problem.[1] Although, Teferi was meant to be insubstantial in the past, nothing more than a spirit, they found out that actually manifested corporally.[2] Their first attempt send them to the unset of the Dark Age, which wasn't far enough in the past.<ref name="The Beginning">
