Arvad is a vampire, who once was a Benalish knight. He became security chief of Jhoira's crew on the rebuild Skyship Weatherlight.
Kazarov, a decedent of the notorious Sengir line, turned Arvad into a vampire. However, the holy magic of Serra's Powerstone allows him to move in sunlight and suppresses his hunger.[1][2]
After Arvad was magically compulsed to travel to the Weatherlight 's construction site, he helped Tiana defend the ship aginst the attack of a Bogardan phoenix.[2] The angel introduced Arvad to Joihra, after which he swore allegiance to the captain.[3]
