Arna Kennerüd was a prominent Kjeldoran skyknight during the during the Ice Age of Dominaria. By the time of the Thaw, she was promoted to skycaptain.

By 4562 AR, her descendant Tura Kennerüd also serves as a skyknight, riding an aesthir that is directly descended from Arna's.[1]

Trivia

It might seem like a suspicious coincidence that Arna Kennerüd showed up in Magic around the time that Darla Kennerud was in charge of flavor text, but in fact, Darla did it as a tribute to the man she was dating. She only got Kennerud as her own last name after the character started saying things in Magic continuity.[2]
