- The inhabitants of the mage-rings are known as "ringers".[3]
- Large numbers of ring-mages are required to manage incoming mana pulses, which can arrive at any hour of the day or night.[3]
- In April 2023, shortly after the release of March of the Machine, Mark Rosewater held a poll on his Tumblr account[7] asking which plane featured on a battle in the set players would most like to see return in a premier set. Vryn came in second with 18% of the vote, losing only to Xerex, which won 27% of the vote.
- During the planning of the Phyrexian Arc, two consecutive sets on Vryn were planned for release in the slots that would eventually become the sets Streets of New Capenna and Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty.[8] However, both sets were cut before they entered Exploratory Design.[9]
