Mariska was Hurn’s wife of Clan Pearl, living in Storgard at the onset of the Ice Age of Dominaria.[1]
The pregnant Mariska believed that Oriel Kjeldos was correct, and that Storgard must be abandoned in search of a safer home. She took the Fyndhorn Bow and the Shield of the Ages from the hidden places in Storgard and gave them to Kjeldos and Jason Carthalion. After Carthalion's victory over Freyalise, Mariska left Storgard with Kjeldos.
