Pendragon is a fan-created Pauper Commander variant emphasizing commoner champions wielding legendary weapons.[1] Decks consist of 100 singleton cards (for 4v4 or 1v1 multiplayer), featuring one common creature as the primary commander and one legendary Equipment as the "Excalibur" partner.[2]
Rules
Color identity combines both commanders; the 98-card main deck uses only common-rarity cards (or those printed at common, including MTGO downshifts). Life totals start at 30, with commander damage at 21 from a single commander (including animated Equipment like The Reality Chip).
MDFC Equipment in the command zone casts only from its Equipment side; elsewhere, it's single-sided. Rule 0 discussions are encouraged for playtesting beyond core parameters.
