Otrimi, the Ever-Playful is a legendary nightmare beast from the plane of Ikoria.
Description
Otrimi is a mysterious and mischievous creature, which makes its home among the giant roots of Zagoth's swamps, constantly growing and mutating. The planeswalker Vivien Reid theorizes Otrimi is the larval stage of the apex monster Brokkos's species. This is indicated by the two rows of three eyes as well as the horn structure (one central spike with curling outer antlers).[1]
It's unknown if Otrimi and Brokkos will be able to coexist when the first reaches maturity, though Vivien hopes so.[2]
