Jinnie Fay, also known as Jinnie Myra,[1] is an elf druid affiliated with the Cabaretti family in New Capenna.
Description
Jinnie serves as the adopted daughter and trusted right-hand of Jetmir, the powerful boss of the Cabaretti crime family on New Capenna.[1][2] She is accompanied by two loyal familiars: a cat named Muri and a dog named Regis.[3]
History
Jinnie was found as an orphan wandering the Mezzio district by talent scouts working for the Cabaretti.[4] Early on, she proved herself to be a formidable combatant while serving as a member of the Vantoleone family's guards. Her exceptional skill with blades quickly drew the attention of Jetmir, who recruited her into his guard. Over time, she won the respect and affection of the aging leonin boss, who regards her as the daughter he never had. Fierce and beautiful, with a refined taste for luxury and finery, Jinnie now stands as the heir apparent to the Cabaretti leadership.
Besides her duties as Jetmir's most loyal and trusted lieutenant, Jinnie dedicates significant effort to overseeing the Cabaretti's extensive kennels. Here, expert menagerie keepers breed and care for a variety of rare urban wildlife and exotic, diminutive creatures.[4]
During the crisis of the Crescendo and the Adversary War, Jinnie formed a reluctant and often tense alliance with planeswalkers Elspeth and Vivien. This alliance was motivated by her determination to protect Jetmir from the agents of the Adversary.[5] Despite her efforts, she was ultimately unsuccessful in reclaiming Giada from the planeswalkers,[6] and has since turned her focus toward restoring the Cabaretti family to its former strength and influence.[7]

Trivia
- The Cabaretti had a much louder Cat and Dog theme in early vision design, but it got scaled back as it didn’t thematically fit as well as R&D had hoped. Jinnie Fay, Jetmir's Second is a holdover design from that era.[8]
