Sharae of Numbing Depths is a Merfolk wizard from Eldraine.

Description

Sharae is the leader of the merfolk of Loch Larent.[1] She has golden scales and a split tail.[2]

Inspiration

Sharae's design was based on John Galliano's Fall/Winter 2009 Ready-to-Wear collection, which featured "ice princess" designs inspired by Eastern European and Balkan folklore.[2]

History

Sharae and her people were trapped under the frozen surface of the lake when Hylda formed the icy castle of Winter's Home.[1] The merfolk were presumably freed when Hylda's powers waned after she gave up her ice crown.
