Two-Color Decks (Standard 2023)
Two-Color Decks (Season 2023)
Ten two-color decks are unlocked individually through daily quests after completing the new player Color Challenges, starting with the July 8, 2021 update. The 2022 decks feature cards and themes from Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, Innistrad: Crimson Vow, Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty, and Streets of New Capenna. As with previous two-color decks, these decks will continue to rotate annually.
With the March 27, 2023 update, the new player onboarding experience on Arena was overvamped. The old system of unlocking preconstructed decks through daily quests was retired in favor of "Starter Deck Duel", a new permanently available event. Unlocked after completing the tutorial, this new event lets you pick any of the 10 preconstructed decks and adds the chosen deck to your collection after you win a game with it. After 3 wins in the Starter Deck Duel event, another newly added mode unlocks: "Spark Ranked". This mode allows the use of already unlocked preconstructed decks in a ranked ladder only available to new players. Reaching the highest rank unlocks all the remaining decks.

Note: Experienced players can skip this whole process by clicking the "Unlock Play Modes" button under "Account" (bottom left in the Options menu), which awards all 10 decks immediately.

Monocolor Decks (Arena Base Set)
Five monocolor decks are unlocked after the tutorial and can be upgraded by completing the new player Color Challenges. Cards that are replaced through these upgrades are automatically moved to the sideboard. Unlike previous monocolor decks, these decks were built using cards from a special non-rotating set called the Arena Base Set (ANB) to ensure they remain legal beyond Standard 2021.

Rares (7):

Two-Color Decks (Season 2023)

The new decks feature cards and mechanics from the sets Dominaria United, The Brothers' War, Phyrexia: All Will Be One, March of the Machine, March of the Machine: The Aftermath, as well as The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth. They also include cards from the corresponding Alchemy and Arena Base Set.

New Player Decks (Standard 2021)

The new player decks for Standard 2021 were added with the August 13, 2020, update. They feature cards from Throne of Eldraine, Theros Beyond Death, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, Core Set 2021, and the new Arena Base Set. A change from previous iterations is that the monocolored decks will remain rotation-proof beyond Standard 2021. The two-color decks will continue to be updated with each rotation.

Monocolor Decks (Arena Base Set)

Five monocolored decks are unlocked after the tutorial and can be upgraded by completing the new player Color Challenges. Cards that are replaced through these upgrades are automatically moved to the sideboard. Unlike previous monocolored decks, these decks were built using cards from a special non-rotating set called the Arena Base Set (ANB) to ensure they remain legal beyond Standard 2021.

In March 2022, the Arena Base Set was removed from Bo1 Standard. From that moment on, the cards (and thus the monocolored decks) were only legal in digital formats like Alchemy and Historic.[2]During Bot Matches, Sparky uses these decks.
