Miscellaneous
- Huatli, Poet of Unity breaks normal formatting rules by using Huatli's personal pronouns, which are reserved for planeswalker cards, rather than the gender-neutral it/its pronouns which are normally used on creature cards. This is likely because the card depicts a desparked planeswalker.
- Just like with Streets of New Capenna, the angels depicted on several cards are otherwise unmentioned in the storyline.
- Diamond Pick-Axe is also a pickaxe variant that can be found within the various Minecraft games.[3] The design of an underground world being linked to the crafting of resources was a younger-generation perspective, of which Minecraft had a large influence.[4]
- It is the second Magic card to be inspired by Minecraft, after the Markus Persson (Notch) designed Aggressive Mining (Magic 2015).
- Design conceived of Francisco, Fowl Marauder as the pet of either Malcolm Lee or Breeches and modeled his ability after both of their Commander Legends cards.[5]
- The set shares similarities with the mobile game Fate/Grand Order's Lostbelt 7: Golden Sea of Trees Travelogue: Nahui Mictlan, which was released in January 2023. Both share an underground Mayan themed circular world with an internal sun.
