Far Fortune is the captain of the Gastal Endriders racing team that competed in the Ghirapur Grand Prix on Avishkar.[1]
Description
Far Fortune is a bold and resilient road warrior, known for her fearless spirit and rugged endurance.[2][3] Scarred and weathered by years on the road, she commands her gang with unwavering determination, having led them from the harsh wasteland grave-fields of Gastal toward the vast, limitless expanse of the Multiverse. Initially driven by intense rage, her time in exile has tempered that fury, though a lingering desire for vengeance continues to burn within her. This simmering anger powers her central mission: to return to her homeworld and reclaim Gastal for herself.[4] Amidst Gastal's ongoing water wars, Far Fortune’s plan—had she triumphed in the Grand Prix and secured the coveted Aetherspark—was to unleash the floodgates, bringing relief and salvation to her drought-stricken homeland.[5]
History
After the New Phyrexian Invasion ended and the Omenpaths opened, Endrider gangs rode their machines to freedom, leaving Gastal without a look in the rearview mirror.[1] They found the Multiverse ripe for raiding but encountered a new problem. While food, water, and rest could be found in plenty, gasoline was scarce, a controlled substance at best and unknown at worst. Accustomed to driving their machines to the max, they quickly ran dry of fuel. Stranded, the Endriders sought alternate methods of fueling their vehicles and fell into all manner of mercenary work.
Fortune's gang was one of the crews that left Gastal, rode to the horizon, and ran out of gas.[1] Lucky for them, they were stranded on Avishkar and quickly found their way into the Ghirapur Grand Prix and its aether-fueled machines. Now a popular team of hard-edged competitors, the Endriders race to win and fuel their never-ending drive.
In the final stage of the race, Fortune's vehicle was wrecked, and she was mind controlled by Jace Beleren, who was attempting to recover his adopted child Loot.[6]
