Arena Championship 4

October 7–8, 2023 (Wilds of Eldraine draft and Historic)[1] 14 players qualified and 18 from the leaderboard made up the competitors. Fewer big names were present, the biggest being Pascal Vieren; there was also Players Tour Online 1 Top 4er Joonas Eloranta, Challenger Gauntlet competitor Toni Ramas Pascual, long-time Pro Tour competitor Thierry Ramboa and 2023 Worlds competitor Andre Santos.

With the move back to paper, Historic had moved aside in competitive Magic. With three bonus sheets, Anthologies and an entire set aimed for Modern, there was no shortage of new cards of high power. As such, two leading decks from other formats made their way into Historic. The leading deck was Mono-Green Devotion, similar to that in Pioneer; followed by Dimir Control one of the few remaining decks with Lurrus of the Dream-Den; then Golgari Yawgmoth, Thran Phyisician, porting a popular Modern deck into Historic. Taylor Cobb, Michal Guldan, Alex Saltzman and Shinya Saito won their draft, and Saito defeated the other three for the 6-0 overnight.
