Masters Edition IV is an online-only product for Magic Online, that was released January 10, 2011. The design focused on cards from Beta, Arabian Nights, and Antiquities.
Masters Edition IV features 269 cards, including 105 rares, 72 uncommons, and 80 commons and 12 lands. All cards appear with their original artwork and original-style card frames. The cards are not redeemable.
Each Masters Edition IV booster pack contains 15 randomly sorted cards (1 rare, 3 uncommon, 10 common, and 1 of the following non-basic lands: Urza's Mine, Urza's Power Plant, or Urza's Tower). Note that the Urza's lands are found within these booster packs instead of basic lands, making the creation of "Urzatron" decks viable in Limited. Light tribal themes support Birds, Zombies, Goblins and Elephants.
Some rarities were changed: Angelic Voices, Blaze of Glory and Savannah Lions were changed from rare to uncommon; Conversion from uncommon to rare; Red Elemental Blast and Blue Elemental Blast from common to uncommon; Just Fate from rare to common.
