Pro Tour Amonkhet

Pro Tour Amonkhet is the third Pro Tour of the 2016–17 season. It will take place on 12–14 May 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States.

Format

The playoff system was reverted to traditional single-elimination in this event, as WotC deemed the stepladder format used in Pro Tour Kaladesh and Pro Tour Aether Revolt has little effect on reducing intentional draws among top players. However, to favor higher seeded players in Swiss portion, the payout and pro point was adjusted: For top 8 players, they all receive different payout/pro points in accordance of final overall position (Top 3 will have same payout, however). Player who finished 31-32 Match Point will receive one less pro point than before.
