The The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Commander Decks are released together with The Lost Caverns of Ixalan.[2] These are meant to be on-ramps to Commander, with a few new cards and the rest reprints.
Description
Each of the Commander decks represents one of the factions from Ixalan block[3], and features ten new cards. Lost Caverns Commander cards with the LCC set code numbered 1–8 are the primary and secondary Commanders. Showcase versions of the main Commanders are #17-#20. The other new cards are numbered #69-100. These (and the extender art versions numbered #21–68) are permitted in the Commander, Legacy, and Vintage formats. The Display commanders are numbered #121-124. Cards with the LCC set code numbered #125-370 and above are the reprints, legal for play in any format where a card with the same name is permitted. Twenty-three of the reprints have new art.
